Storm Surge Washes Away Homes In Ft. Myers Beach During Hurricane Ian

Hurricane Ian, considered one of the strongest storms in the United States in recent years, hit the southwest coast of Florida with full force on Wednesday.

Many streets turned into rivers, and houses were washed away by the raging water, and even boats could be seen along the flooded streets.

In the US state of Florida alone, at least 12 deaths have been confirmed to date as a result of Hurricane Ian, and according to initial estimates, the material damage is very large. More than 2.5 million people were left without electricity, many residents were also left without a mobile signal.

A video has also circulated on the Internet, in which we can watch a real horror in the city of Fort Myers Beach on the island of Estero in the southeastern United States. There, the water completely flooded the streets, many houses were destroyed, some of them were even ripped out from the ground.
