French pianist Julien Cohen, together with the duo Violin Phonix, invited 100 musicians to join him in lighting the Christmas decorations in the heart of Paris and delivering an unexpected musical performance.

Christmas lights have already been switched on in central Paris, and the ceremonial event, held in cooperation with numerous musicians, created a true spectacle. The festivities opened with the sound of a well-known Christmas song echoing through the streets, followed by a scene focused on a little girl who walked down a carpet toward a red button.
When the girl pressed the red button, the streets lit up with a glow of festive lights, but the surprise had only just begun. A total of 100 musicians performed in the Paris square, delivering an unforgettable opening to the joyous month of December.
Together, they performed the beloved Christmas song "Carol of the Bells," which is based on the Ukrainian New Year's song "Shchedryk." The melody was created around 1916 by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych, and the English lyrics were added in 1936 by American composer of Ukrainian origin Peter Joseph Wilhousky.
