Bodycam Captures Officers Saving Unresponsive 2-Year-Old Girl After Pool Accident

A dramatic bodycam video has gone viral across the United States, showing two South Carolina police officers saving the life of a 2-year-old girl after she fell into a backyard swimming pool. The emotional rescue was captured on one of the officers' body cameras.

Officers Jordan Stevenson and Connor O'Shields responded to the emergency in Greenville County on May 31, where they found the toddler unresponsive. They immediately began performing CPR and continued life-saving efforts until paramedics arrived, successfully restoring the child's vital signs.

The footage, released by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, captures the tense moments before the little girl begins breathing again, followed by overwhelming relief. In recognition of their swift and professional response, both officers were later formally honored for saving the child's life.
