Car Gets Totaled by Deadly Tennessee Tornado
A dramatic video from the U.S. state of Tennessee has resurfaced, showing the moment a driver fled in his car as a destructive tornado bore down on him. The footage was recorded during a deadly storm in December 2023 that claimed at least six lives and left widespread devastation behind.
The video shows a dark funnel cloud rapidly approaching the area as the driver attempts to increase the distance between himself and the tornado. Within moments, conditions deteriorate sharply – the sky darkens and powerful winds begin to engulf the fleeing vehicle.
According to U.S. media reports, the driver managed to escape the worst of the storm and survived the encounter. The tornado caused significant damage across central Tennessee, particularly in Montgomery County and the city of Clarksville.
Even today, the footage is considered one of the most striking examples of how quickly a person can find themselves in the direct path of one of nature’s most dangerous forces.
