Giant crocodile steals hippo meal from a clan of hyenas

A dramatic wildlife moment was captured in Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya, where a massive crocodile boldly approached a group of hyenas and stole their meal. The scavengers had just started feeding on a dead hippo when the giant reptile slowly emerged and claimed the carcass.

The incredible moment was filmed by safari guide Albert Kaelo while leading a tour through the reserve. Near a watering hole, he noticed a clan of hyenas feeding on the hippo.

Suddenly, a huge crocodile appeared and calmly walked toward the carcass, ignoring the numerical advantage of the hyenas. The predators quickly stepped aside as the powerful reptile took over the meal.
