Huge Crash In MotoGP, Zarco Clips Marquez At 185 Mph
On today's MotoGP race on Phillip Island, there was no shortage of action and drama!
The race is best reminiscent by the huge crash 22 laps before the end, when Johann Zarco crashed spectacularly into the world champion Marc Marquez at a speed of 185 mph, completely destroying his and Marc's motorcycle.
Fortunately, both drivers took it without injury, and Marc Marquez remained without points on the Phillip Island race for the third time in a career.
The Zarco motorcycle has hit the back of the Marc Marquez motorcycle, and he could only brought his motorcycle into the pit after that, finishing the race because of too much damage. Zarco has already apologized to the world champion, and Marquez understands the situation according to his post on Twitter.
The outstanding Maveric Vinales celebrated victory with Yamaha, and the joy of Spaniard was understandable. Last time when Yamaha celebrated the first place was in Assen 2017.
In the second place Iannone landed, and after him, Dovizioso crossed the finish line. Alvaro Bautista was fourth, Alex Rinns fifth, and on the sixth place there was Valentino Rossi.
