Sabit Shontakbaev, 37, was leaving for work when he saw a girl hanging from a window on one of the high-rises. He quickly ran into the building, entered the apartment downstairs, and set about a brave rescue.
He did not use any protective equipment, and saved the girl's life with his intervention. Otherwise, the girl would most likely fall 80 feet (25 m) in depth. Well done to the man for such courageous action!
