Son Of Fallen Deputy Fails To Buy His Dad's Squad Car At Auction

Officer Sam Brownlee tragically lost his life in the line of duty in 2010 when he was shot by a fugitive.

Later, his company car was sold at auction, which the son wanted to buy in memory of his father, but unfortunately he was unable to do so.

Years ago, a video from the auction went viral on the Internet, where we can watch moving scenes. The son of a deceased policeman wanted to buy his father's police car, but the price had risen so much that he simply could not shell out so much money for the vehicle.

The asking price for the vehicle was 12,500 US dollars, in the end a local farmer bought the car for as much as 70,000 dollars. But as soon as the auction ended, the farmer gave the deceased policeman's vehicle to his son and moved everyone present with his gesture.

Sam Brownlee lost his life during a manhunt for a suspect in 2010 after being shot by Rueben Reyes while groping on the ground. The suspect was then shot dead by a colleague of the deceased police officer.
