Baggage Hatch Flies Open During Flight
The 28-year-old pilot Steven Le Van flew with his wife a few days ago, and after 15 minutes they experienced a real shock.
The luggage hatch opened at an altitude of about 640 meters (2,100 ft) during the flight, forcing Steven to make an emergency landing with the plane.
The horror took place near Membury Airfield Airport in Berkshire, England, while the pilot kept a sober head and successfully made an emergency landing in a nearby field.
The luggage hatch opened on a single-engine Mooney M20K aircraft.
The emergency landing, he said, was full of adrenaline as the plane bounced on the field. In the end, it finally stopped, and Steven also filmed the consequences on the plane with a camera.
