What An Implosion Of The Titan Submarine Would Look Like
The US Navy detected the sound of an implosion in the search area of the submarine Titan yesterday.
All five crew members died in the process, and videos and animations of what the implosion looks like have circulated online.
It is not yet known when and where exactly the implosion occurred, but the wreckage of the Titan submarine was found on the seabed, about 500 meters away from the sunken Titanic. Rescuers said there was a catastrophic loss of cabin pressure, resulting in an implosion.
What the submarine implosion looks like:
Implosion is the reverse process of explosion. The object collapses in on itself - this results in an immediate reduction in body volume due to loss of internal pressure.
