A "Fever" Of More Than 100 Cownose Rays Glide Just Feet Away From Swimmers

On the beach in Fort Myers, Florida, an unusual scene has been filmed in recent days as a large group of Cownose rays swam past swimmers in the water.

The scene was captured not far from the beach, and the video is already a real success on social media.

The video has garnered more than 4 million views on Facebook alone, and many online users are thrilled with the scene, as it is a very special experience.

The Cownose ray fish (Rhinoptera bonasus) is a species of stingray found throughout much of the western Atlantic and Caribbean, from New England in the United States to southern Brazil. They are not dangerous to humans, and they prefer to stay in shallow water.

See how the swimmers reacted from a large group of Cownose rays. How would you react if you would encounter such a scene?
