In the past few days, a group of skiers experienced a real drama while kiting on the snow.
Near the Col du Lautaret pass in the southeastern French department of Hautes-Alpes, an avalanche started from the top of the mountains, but fortunately all the skiers took it away unharmed.
Laurent, the author of the video, posted the dramatic video on his YouTube channel to raise public awareness of how quickly an avalanche can occur in the mountains.
His friend Lionel was very lucky that the avalanche did not cover him - he carried it away without injuries, even though a mass of snow literally catapulted him into the air.
