Does ABS Make Cars More Dangerous In Winter?

ABS (Anti-Lock Brake Systems) are designed to help you keep control of your vehicle under hard braking, but sacrifice your actual ability to stop quickly on slippery roads.

All newer cars have a built-in number of safety mechanisms and systems that help us control our vehicle while driving. Unfortunately, these systems are adapted for normal driving conditions. When snow occurs on the road, many systems represent more obstacles than solutions.

To prove this, the authors of the video used two completely identical cars with the same tires, except that one of the cars the ABS was shut down. And what was the result?

Take a look at the video of the test and see for yourself how useful the ABS system is on the snow!
