Firefighter Breaks Car Window To Access Blocked Fire Hydrant

A video has circulated on YouTube these days, where we can watch an unusual scene from New York City.

There, when the firemen intervened, they came across an incorrectly parked vehicle, which made access to the fire hydrant difficult.

The video, which was published a few days ago on the YouTube network, is already a real hit there - to date, it has reached almost 2 million views on the mentioned network alone, and the opinions of internet users are divided on the fireman's move.

Inside Edition, YouTube
Since the firefighters had difficulty accessing the hydrant during the fire due to a wrongly parked vehicle, one of them took the law into his own hands. He broke both windows on the car's door, then pulled a fire hose right through the interior of the vehicle and connected it to the hydrant.

Many internet users support his move, as this is what the law dictates. However, there are also those who believe that the fireman broke the windows completely unnecessarily, as the fire hose could have been brought to the hydrant by a different route. Did the fireman do the right thing or did he go too far?
