When John Irwin returned from a holiday in France to his hometown of Glasgow, he was uncomfortably surprised at the airport in Nice.
His suitcase was overweight for nearly 8 kilograms, so the staff wanted to charge him 100 euros in addition. The amount seemed too much for John, so he took things into his own hands!
He opened his suitcase at the airport, then began to put on a number of t-shirts and long-sleeved shirts, even though it was around 30 degrees Celsius at that time on the Cote d'Azur.

After he placed 8 kilograms of shirts on his body, security guards stopped him during the inspection. They thought he wanted to smuggle something under clothes. In spite of additional inspections and sweats, however, the ingenious Scott eventually saved 100 euros!
