Ronald Reagan is the former President of the United States, who served as president during 1981 - 1989.

On March 30, 1981, John Hickley Jr. carried out an assassination shots in Washington, wounded President Ronald Reagan and three of his associates.

President Ronald Reagan survived the assassination, as only one bullet hit him. He suffered from a fracture of the rib, one of his lungs collapsed, and he suffered severe internal bleeding.

Two months later, the president went to West Berlin, where a balloon popped during his speech.

The crowd of people gathered laughed at Ronald Reagan's words when he said: "Missed me!"
