The bilingual opera singer eventually selected an emotional Italian ballad that was sure to impress everyone in the theater. However, when Daniel started singing during his audition, something horrible happened...

Daniel got about halfway through his first Italian ballad when Simon piped in - he had heard enough! Instead of allowing him to complete his original song selection, Simon had another idea. He asked the producer if Daniel could have an hour to practice a new song, one of Simon's favorites. Thankfully, the producer agreed, and Daniel was given a second chance.
