This Is How High Power Ground Run Looks At Boeing 787

The Boeing 787 is an American long-haul, mid-size widebody, twin-engine jet airliner made by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Its variants seat 242 to 335 passengers in typical three-class seating configurations. It is the first airliner with an airframe constructed primarily of composite materials.

This high power ground run was performed after a routine visit to the hangar for a maintenance check (called a 4A check). Performing the run allows us to check that the engine and it's auxiliary equipment are operating normally and there are no fluid leaks from filters that have been replaced.
