Vets In Kenya Save Live Of An Elephant Who Was Victim Of Poachers

On 25th February 2014, one of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Super Cub Pilots spotted an injured elephant in Tsavo National Park. A call was raised to the Tsavo Mobile Veterinary Unit and three Kenya Wildlife Service Vets rapidly responded. They provided life saving treatment to this bull elephant, who'd been targeted by poison arrow poachers, seeking to end his life so that they might take his ivory.
