4-Year-Old Boy Donates Bone Marrow To Save Twin Brothers

A few years ago, a touching video went viral on the Internet, where we can follow the story of a 4-year-old boy who saved the life of his twin brothers.

The twins were born with Chronic granulomatous disease, which is fatal in most cases without a bone marrow transplant.

4-year-old brother Michael DeMasi Jr. was determined to help the twins - he was the only suitable candidate in the family who could come to the aid of the sick newborns.

Earlier, mum Robin Pownall asked him if he would become a bone marrow donor for twins Giovanni and Santino. She explained to him that the procedure was very unpleasant and painful, but despite the facts, the little boy decided to help his two brothers and thereby save their lives.
