A Locust Swarm Of Biblical Proportions Is Plaguing Eastern Africa

The year 2020 did not start very well. If earthquakes, fires, volcanoes and viruses were not enough, new disasters were witnessed in East Africa.

There they are fighting a swarm of locusts that have swept many countries in eastern Africa.

Greedy locusts, believed to be more than a billion, initially made their way through Ethiopia and Somalia. Residents have not witnessed such numbers of locusts in the last 25 years.

It is also severe in Kenya, where even more locusts are witnessed. The largest locusts invasion in the last 70 years is reported there.

Locusts destroy many crops and food, greatly exacerbating the bad food situation in poor countries there. Only one swarm of grasshoppers was 60 kilometers long and 40 kilometers wide.
