"A Million Times" Wall Clock At Changi Airport, Singapore Is A Stunning Artwork

Technology is progressing year after year. They are also aware of this in Singapore, where many arts are set up for tourists and visitors at public places.

Changi Airport in Singapore impresses the tourists with many attractions such as this very special clock, which differs greatly from the classical clock.


The artistic work "A Million Times" is a kinetic sculpture and a working clock on which harmonic images and shapes are drawn by mechanical movement. Of course, artwork can also show us the exact time!

The clock was developed by the Stockholm Artists' Collective "Humans Since 1982", and the artwork is a visual presentation of the time. The clock has 1008 stepper motors, it is 7.5 meters (24.6 ft) wide and 3.4 meters (11.2 ft) in height.

The clock at Changi Airport is one of the largest kinetic works in the world.
