Colombian Freediver Shows Her Insane Rock Run Over The Ocean's Floor

The depths of the sea represent fear to many, while others see a challenge that can not be resisted. Such is also a competitor in a video clip that deals with freediving.

Sofía Gómez Uribe from Colombia is signed under a world record in freediving. But, many times, she also publishes videos on the web that take many breaths away.

At the same time, the 26-year-old holds six national records in three different freediving disciplines, and in 2013 she won the gold medal in the women's individual freediving at the World Championship in Peru.

Sofía was born in Pereira, Colombia, and in 2001 she began to attend classes for swimming and diving. Since then, she has written many successes, and she also has her Blue Element School in the Dominica in the Caribbean, where she teaches freediving.

It was during the course of the training that a video was recorded, in which Sofía took a large rock in her hands, then dived 60 feet (18 meters) deep using only her breath and talent. From there, she came back to the surface by running over the sea bottom with the rock in her hands, and with her venture she impressed many!
