Dad Cares For Quadruplets After Wife's Tragic Death During The Birth

Recently, a touching story from the United States has once again captured hearts worldwide. It's a story of the birth of quadruplets and the heartbreaking loss of their mother.

After the tragic passing of his wife, the loving father took over the care of the children, and his gesture moved countless people across the globe.

Carlos Morales, from Arizona, shared a tender moment with his wife Erica before the birth of their quadruplets. He kissed her, hugged her, and told her how deeply he loved her. Sadly, this was the last time he saw her alive, as complications during childbirth took a devastating turn.

"We were so excited to start our family, but then everything just crumbled," 29-year-old Carlos  told the media. His 36-year-old wife, Erica, gave birth to three girls and a boy through a C-section in 2015. The children were conceived through IVF and delivered prematurely in the seventh month of pregnancy. The babies were born healthy, but Erica tragically went into hypovolemic shock due to severe blood loss. She passed away the next day, never getting the chance to hold her children in her arms.

"Sometimes I want more, but you just have to sit down, thank God for His blessings, and surrender everything into His hands. Thank you for your prayers and all the love," was Erica's last post on social media, after learning the birth would be early.

Carlos and Erica had already chosen names for two of the girls and the boy, but they were still undecided on the name for the third girl. After the loss of his wife, a nurse asked Carlos about their names. He shared the three they had chosen and decided to name the fourth girl Erica, in honor of her mother. Today, the quadruplets are nine years old, and Carlos recently shared that throughout the years, friends and extended family have been by his side, helping him raise his beloved children.
