Horrifying Moment As Hang Glider Cheats Death Hanging In Mid-Air
A video is coming from Switzerland, where one of the tourists decided there for the adrenalin flight with a hang glider in tandem, but the pilot made a big mistake before taking off.
The pilot forgot to attach his passenger to the hang glider, which resulted him to hang on the hang glider immediately after taking off.
His fight with gravity lasted for a good two minutes, and the event could end much worse than it did. The tourist suffered some injuries, but luckily he survived.
From the beginning of the video, it can be noticed that only a pilot is attached to the hang glider while his passenger wasn't. Immediately after take-off, the passenger lost his grip and he was hanging off the hang glider, while the landing on the slope was not possible anymore because of the excessive height. The pilot then directed the hang glider towards the valley, where the passenger's grip finally loosened a few meters above the meadows.
He broke the bone in the forearm, and because of the long holding on the hang glider, his left biceps tendon was also damaged.
Nevertheless, the (un)lucky man said that he would try to fly again with the glider as he "did not enjoy it the first time".
