A serious accident occurred in Russia yesterday when a large-scale explosion occurred at a gas station.
According to the latest information, a fuel tank exploded, which had previously caught fire.
A violent explosion erupted at one of the gas stations in the Traktorozavodsky district in the Russian city of Volgograd yesterday. Residents also saw the fireball up to several kilometers away, and according to the latest data, thirteen people were injured, four of them firefighters.
The fire was said to have triggered an electrical contact during the flow of fuel from the tanker to the underground tank, and staff evacuated everyone at and near the pump immediately after the fire.
