Hurricane Michael's Catastrophic Aftermath Seen From A Helicopter In Florida

The northwestern part of Florida has been hit by Hurricane Michael in recent days. As many as 900,000 people remain without electricity, and the hurricane left behind two lost lives.

The damage is not entirely known, but according to the images from the helicopter, the hurricane caused real destruction.

The worst affected region is around the city of Mexico Beach, where Hurricane Michael hit with a wind speed of up to 155 mph on Wednesday. Many houses are leveled with the ground, the power lines are destroyed, the streets are flooded.

Despite the evacuation instructions, many people have not left their homes.

Reuters reports that this is the third strongest storm that hit the US mainland. Meteorologists in Florida and the US authorities also warned citizens of this, but many residents did not take those warning seriously.
