Husband Spends 2 Years Planting Thousands Of Flowers So His Blind Wife Could Smell Them

Mr. and Mrs. Kuroki lived a happy life as dairy farmers in rural Japan, raising two lovely children. But tragedy struck when Mrs. Kuroki suddenly lost her sight due to complications from diabetes.

Soon, she became depressed and withdrawn, secluding herself in the family home.

This is precisely why her husband was determined to make her dark days more beautiful. One day he noticed a very fragrant flower called shibazakura. He quickly got the idea that he could bring his wife out of the house with scented flowers.

Over the next two years, he planted thousands of flowers in front of the house, and his home turned into a beautiful scented field in the color of fuchsia.
