Impaired Mustang Driver Crashes Into Gas Pump
A freshly released video from a gas station in Chandler, Arizona shows the moment when a vehicle collided crashed into a gas station.
Immediately afterwards, a fire broke out, destroying the gas station in two vehicles.
The accident happened on October 24, but the video was not released until November 20. A surveillance camera captured a scene at the gas station when the driver of the Mustang lost control of the vehicle and then crashed into the gas station.
Immediately afterwards, the fire engulfed two vehicles, and eventually firefighters had to extinguish the fire.
In the fire, one woman suffered severe second-degree burns and the driver, who caused the crash, fled the scene. Police tracked him down and arrested him - later they found out that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
