Landing A Plane On The Top Of Burj Al Arab Hotel
A few days ago, Red Bull published a video clip on its YouTube channel, in which we can follow the daring feat of the pilot of a sports plane.
Luke Czepiela showed off his talent when he landed his plane on a small platform located on top of the Burj Al Arab skyscraper in Dubai.
The aforementioned pilot from Poland completed as many as 650 test landings on the ground prior to the challenge before attempting to land on a 56-story hotel in Dubai. He performed the feat with distinction, landing the plane on a 27-meter-long platform intended for helicopters.
Luke stopped after 20.76 meters with the converted sport plane. To make the challenge successful, the engineers reduced the weight of the plane to 425 kilograms.
