Milwaukee Bus Driver Rescues Baby Wandering On Overpass
A story comes from Milwaukee in Wisconsin, which could end up tragically. A female driver of one of the buses spotted a child walking on the sidewalk.
She immediately stopped the bus, then picked up the baby and brought it inside the vehicle.
On that day in Milwaukee, the temperature dropped to 20 degrees (-8°C), and the little one was dressed only in a shirt and a diaper. Unofficially, the child was less then one year old.
Irena Ivic, a bus driver, saved the life of a child, as there was a lot of dangerous traps in the vicinity.
With the help of another passenger, they warmed up the little boy on the bus and called firefighters and police officers for help. They quickly traced the boy's mother and came to the conclusion that the mother left the baby outside because she suffers from a mental disorder.
