Oldest Living Person Confirmed By Guinness World Records At 116 Years Old

Many have long wondered who is the oldest living person on Earth. We also received an official report these days, as the grandmother from Japan entered the official Guinness World Records.

She was born more than a decade ago, and the official record was recognized on March 9, 2019.

Kane Tenaka is a grandma from Fukuoka, Japan, who is now considered the oldest living person in the world. She was enrolled in the book of records at the age of 116 years and 66 days, while Guinness World Records gave her an official certificate designating her as the oldest living person in the world.

Grandma Kane was born on January 2, 1903, and she was  the seventh child in the family of Kumakichi and Kuma Ota. Four days after her 19th birthday, she married a man named Hudeo Tanaka. Although she had some surgery in her life, today Kane lives peacefully at a rest home in Fukuoka.

Jeanne Louise Calment of France, who was born on February 21, 1875, is officially known as the oldest person. She died on August 4, 1997 when she was 122 years and 164 days old.
