People Record Paris Fireworks On Phones Rather Than Living In The Moment

On New Year's Eve, crowds of people also gathered on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, which are considered the most popular spot for entering the New Year.

Around a million tourists and locals etnered 2024 right there this year - unfortunately, a video has gone viral online that proves what kind of world we live in.

The Champs-Élysées or Avenue des Champs-Élysées is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France, 1.9 kilometers long and 70 meters wide. It runs between Place de la Concorde in the east and Place Charles de Gaulle in the west, where the Arc de Triomphe is located.

Many tourists and locals in Paris welcome the New Year in the aforementioned place. More than a million people gathered there to usher in the New Year 2024, but the internet was flooded with a video that is downright sad.

The crowd of visitors obviously could not enjoy the special moment - the avenue was inundated with mobile phones, and people preferred to film the entrance of the New Year rather than dedicate themselves to each other and enjoy the magical moment. What a world we live in.
