Poachers Kill Extremely Rare White Female Giraffe And Her Calf In Kenya

The world was horrified by the news that two extremely rare white giraffes were killed by wild hunters in northeast Kenya. They killed the mother and her calf, who were first captured on camera in 2017.

According to environmentalists, there is now only one other white giraffe alive in the world.

The remains of two white giraffes were found in one of the villages in Garrisa County in northeast Kenya. The pair was captured on camera for the first time in 2017, and video footage of the extraordinary scene surrounded the world. Giraffes have white pigment due to the rare genetic condition of leukism, which inhibits pigmentation in skin cells.

The wild hunters who shot two white giraffes have still not been tracked by the authorities, and their motive for such a vile act remains unknown.

It is the white giraffes, captured in camera lens in 2017 by National Geographic, who became the victims of wild hunters. Now, there is only one white giraffe left in the world.
