Sand Devil Tornado Captured In Tulcea, Romania

In eastern Romania, a remarkable scene was filmed on Sunday, when Mother Nature showed relentless strength.

A large sand devil formed on land, and some locals managed to capture the scene on camera.

The sand tornado formed near the village of Greci in the county of Tulcea in eastern Romania, and with its image it frightened many locals. According to the latest data, it did not cause any major material damage.

The sand whirlpool, also called the sand devil by many, is a slow tornado that can measure more than 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) in height. In most cases, only a few meters high sand vortices are created, but the sand devil from Romania was already a real little giant.
