Sea World Killer Whale Tries To Hunt Down Birds

The orca or killer whale is the largest species in the dolphin family, and in terms of global prevalence, it ranks second among mammals - just behind humans.

They are found in all of the world's oceans, and by way of life they are predators as they hunt fish, sea turtles, birds, sharks and even other whales.

Orcas are at the top of the marine food chain, occasionally attacking also the largest blue whales. That's why they got the name killer whale.

These animals are very intelligent, as evidenced by a video that landed online ten years ago. At the Sea World Zoo in San Diego, an orca was filmed trying to catch the birds in a very special way - with a bait.

At the edge of the pool, the orca brought a fish to lure the birds with it, but this time its trap was not successful. Look at the way the orca tried to catch the bird!
