Shocking Footage Aboard Viking Sky Cruise Ship As It Battles Dangerous Waves

In Norway, sea rescue is still ongoing after the Viking Sky cruiser got into big troubles. In a severe storm, the engines broke down along the west coast of Norway, so the crew called for help.

Now the web has surrounded a number of video clips in which the horror of passengers can be seen.

Up to 230 people have been rescued this morning, while there are about 1,300 people onboard of the 228 meters long cruiser, according to recent official data. Since the cruiser has been left without engines, it moves a lot in the middle of the rough sea, and the furniture on the boat is also hitting with the passengers.

A video of a Norwegian television NRK was broadcast on the web, in which we can see the cruiser before the coast of Hustadvike. This part of the sea is regarded as one of the most dangerous coastal areas in Norway due to its many islands and cliffs.

According to the latest data, cruisers managed to start one of the engines, but now it is anchored not far from the coast, where rescue continues.
