Shocking Security Footage Shows The Dam Failure In Brazil

According to the latest data, the number of fatalities in the dam failure near the city of Belo Horizonte in the southeast of Brazil has risen to 115, while more than 250 people are still missing.

The authorities are afraid that the number of fatalities will increase greatly.

Last Friday, the dam of the Corrego do Feijao mine in the Brazilian construction concern Vala collapsed, causing some of the mines complex and several homes near the town of Brumadinho with 39,000 inhabitants flooded with the water and mud. About 10 million cubic meters of mud and water was poured into the area.

Now, a week after the tragedy, a video from surveillance cameras filmed the horror has landed on the web.

For now, it is not yet known what the toxicity of spilled mud is. The Brazilian authorities are afraid that mining waste will reach more hydroelectric power plants by mid-February, which will mean a new environmental tragedy.

Look at the terrifying scenes during the collapse of the Corrego do Feijao mine, captured by surveillance cameras.
