They've Been Togeter Since High School. What She Told Him Now Left Him In Shock!
"Drew and I are high school sweet hearts—we started dating when I was 14 and he was 15. We knew early on that we wanted to get married one day and have a family together, but we met so early, so it was going to be a much longer timeline for us than most. This December 1, we will have been dating for 10 years! So crazy how fast this time has gone. Fast forwarding, we got married 2 weeks after we graduated college. We knew we wanted kids 100%, but wanted to have steady jobs and a home before we started trying. We decided to take one last hoorah before trying for a baby, so we went all out and did an amazing all-inclusive vacation in Mexico this last May for our 2nd wedding anniversary. After we got back, we started trying, and within 2 weeks we were pregnant. We had no idea it would happen so fast, and that's why we were both so honestly shocked and surprised in this video.
I found out the morning that I shot this video, and Drew was actually out of town on a work trip. I travel a lot for my job too, but I just so happened to be home this particular day. I planned all-day long on how I would surprise him, and went out and about shopping to curate my dad-to-be gift box. It has always been so important for me to 1) surprise him when I found out and 2) to record it on video. Being a blogger and always having packages come in the mail, it was super easy for me to trick him into thinking it was just another package. I told him it was probably some T-Shirts. I also always have met camera setup in my 'blogging room;" aka our guest bedroom, so he wasn't the least bit suspicious when he walked in the room! I'm so happy that I was able to do both, as this has been one of the happiest moments we've shared to date. :) Drew is such a kind-hearted and loving husband, and I know he will make the best dad to our little girl when she's here around March 1st!"
