Turkish Goalkeeper Breaks National Record For The Earliest Red Card

On Monday, the match between Konyaspor and Malatyaspor in the Turkish Championship was full of drama after a miserable 13 seconds.

Home goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili had to get under the shower early at the start of the match because of a red card!

Barely 13 seconds into the match the Konyaspor goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili was already punished  by the red card. He grabbed the ball with both hands, even though he was about a meter out of the penalty area.

The referee noticed his mistake and, without mercy, gave the 34-year-old goalkeeper a red card. In the history of the Turkish Championship, this was the fastest red card ever!
