The world's public is shocked by the footage from Cambodia, where the authors shot scenes from a pig farm. The videos were quickly circulated around the world, and the organization of animal rights activists PETA accused a pig farm of genetically modifying animals. Pigs were referred as "mutant pigs".

Additional muscle mass means additional earnings, so this practice is still in use in many farms. According to reports, no one can guarantee that these are truly genetically modified animals - such a muscle mass can be even achieved without the change of genes.
