WATCH: Major Accident In Dubai Because Of Fog In Early Morning

Motorists travelling along a major highway in Abu Dhabi were forced to flee for their lives when a think blanket of fog quickly swept over the arterial route reducing visibility to almost nothing.

Drivers had to stop their vehicles then run towards the barriers hoping they would not get hit by any oncoming car that would not have been able to see them in the fog.

According to reports, around 22 people were injured and an estimated 44 cars were involved in the multi-car collision which took place on the road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
