Boy Dangling From Chairlift Saved By Quick-Thinking Teens In Dramatic Rescue

A video clip from the Grouse Mountain ski area in Canada came on the web on Wednesday, when an 8-year-old boy hung from the chairlift. Before falling, his father was holding him high above the grounds.

The whole drama was seen by many skiers on the ski slope, and a group of teenagers came to the aid in an innovative way.

Five young skiers rescued the boy from the injuries that might have occurred when he fell from a chairlift. They quickly picked up a part of the safety net along the slope, then held the grid in the hands just below the chairlift, where the 8-year-old was hanging.

His father was slowly losing grip, so soon the boy fell to the ground. His fall was mitigated by the protective net, and young boys received praise from many sides.

The owners of the ski resort also promised them a free season ski ticket for all teenagers who helped to save the boy. Well done to boys for quick and effective solution, with which the 8-year-old boy was saved from injuries.
